Welcome to the world of blogging!

I want to welcome Sarah (Vitals of Life) to the world of blogging! Sarah and I met at college at
Eastern Washington University in 2000. She is an amazing friend and an even more amazing woman of God. She is a nurse and a great one at that! What more can I say... check out her creativeness and the heart of this wonderful sister! Love you, Sarah!

There are two new babies! Check them out!

Digital Scrapbooking

I have a new addiction. Going online and finding all the free digital scrapbooking stuff and making pages. For those of you who have not started this yet, DON'T! It is addicting! I have posted at couple things on Two Peas but I am still trying to figure this whole thing out. I am not very good at Corel Draw either so I am struggling. Have a blessed day!

Scrap Booking

So here I am! It is 10pm on a Saturday night and I have spent most of the weekend with my scissors, paper, glue, and all kinds of embellishments. What Fun! Then I decide to sit at my computer and do a little surfing on Two Peas In A Bucket. I found some really cool, free, stuff! Then some thoughts go through my head. I can't start this. I WILL get addicted! How do I print these after I have made them? I am just going to have to keep surfing to find some other stuff to go with it. Just like shopping in the stores. Christmas music, stamps, stickers, pictures, paper, paper and more paper. If you are not addicted.... you should be! Posted by Picasa

Getting in the spirit!

I am having a hard time getting into the spirit of Christmas. I wanted to do something fun with my blog but I am not coming up with a good color combination. I love red but Amber has the cutest layout ever so I am going to have to figure out something. Maybe I should go make my family dinner and then come back to this. Have a wonderful evening! Any suggestions??

The American Disease

Bigger. Better. Newer. Faster. Latest. Perfect. More, More, More. Right Now!

I want a bigger car, a suburban (can't get much bigger than that).
I bigger, newer, better house.
Better furnature.
Faster computer.

The sin of discontentment. Yep, that is my battle. God is revealing to me the "dirt." As I look back on the past I can really see how I just want more, more, more and there is never just a place where I am content. When I was single I wanted a better car and to be married. Now that I am married I wanted a bigger house. I have been spoiled. My first house being married was a 900+ sq. ft. house. Now that I have the bigger house I want a better car. Not to mention a bigger family (children). Now that I have all of that I want a faster computer. Now that I have that I want a newer, bigger, nicer house. I want this bigger family now! I want my body to be perfect (those of you that have been pregnant understand).

A month ago I was pestering my husband about a new computer. Now I have the new computer and now I am on to that I am ready to sell my house and move on base to a newer, bigger, better home. As he kindly related to me this morning that once we get into that house (because it would be a better financial move) then I would want better, the latest, furnature. Then probably more kids and a bigger house and this would turn into a never-ending cycle. I just want to be content with where I am. But how do I get there?

I think about how fortunate I am. There is LB in Korea that is living in a small apartment with not all of her belongings. What about Amber who lives in a country where electricity is not a for sure. They have sacrificed their lives and are not near their families either. Not to mention the people that live on the streets and have no food. Or the children that don't know what a toy is.

I just need to get over myself!

California Cameron

My little brother moved to Huntington Beach, CA a few months ago. He moved in with a few really cool guys who are working on their music. I went to Cam's My Space page last night and I was really impressed with their music. Check it out!
Cameron said today that they are working on two albums one being country. I am interested to see what that is going to be like. Cam is working at Sears and spends his time tanning in the sun. Unfortunately, he is not going to be able to come home for Christmas but he is coming home shortly after (maybe I will have the baby while he is here). I am really proud of the music that he has done and he goes to a big church in CA. Have a good day Cam!

How being a Christian is like being a Pumpkin...

Being a Christian is like being a pumpkin. God
lifts you up, takes you in, and washes all the
dirt off of you. He opens you up, touches you
deep inside and scoops out all the yucky stuff--
including the seeds of doubt, hate, greed, etc.
Then He carves you a new smiling face and puts
His light inside you to shine for all the world
to see. Happy Autumn!

Sassy Shoe Thursday

Now that Amber has started SST I am always looking at shoes (on other people). At my dad's family reunion this summer my aunts always had cute shoes on. Here is a pair of my aunt Karrie's really adorable shoes. Have a wonderful Thursday!

Running out of ideas...

Girls I need some wisdom. I am running out of ideas of what to feed Sarah. I try to give her a balanced diet but I don't know what else to give her. It seems like she gets a lot of dairy (that is what she likes). Any thoughts...

SO...

As you can see girls I added a little addition to my blog.I hope that I have your estimated due dates right. If you have names picked out that you would like to share please let me know. We don't know what we are having and I am not sure that we will find out. I know I am waiting for Cortney to get an EDD but let me know if there is anyone else I am forgetting. Does anyone know when Cindy Litzinger is due?

In the palm of His hand...

Have you ever felt like God was distant? Yet in that distance there is His obvious presence. That is what I am feeling now. No matter how much I worship or read my Bible I just don't feel God very close and yet this month He has blessed me. Yesterday was Mike & I's 3rd Anniversary. YEA 3 years! We finally got our Tahoe back after 3 weeks with a rental car. The Lord kept us all safe during that accident. We had an ultrasound last week and the lil' Glathar is doing really well. No we did not find out gender and I don't think that we are going to know. Everything seems fine. I am still a little paranoid while driving or riding in the car but I am sure that I will get past that. Of course being a military family you never know what God / the Government has in store for you. No word lately on us going anywhere. Here is where we are needed for now! September has been a month of financial arrangement with lots of changes and yet we have been able to pay off bills and get in a way better financial situation. PRAISE GOD! Sometimes when you feel alone it takes reflecting on what God has done to see Him still there with you in the palm of His hand. Have a blessed day my friends!

Labor Day Weekend

We hope that you all had an enjoyable Labor Day weekend. We had a good weekend. Zac & Ashley Woodhouse were married on Saturday. Congratulations! Sunday we went to a BBQ and had fun playing cards with Cory, Kim, and my parents. Monday we went out to the farm for a while and loaded more of my parents stuff to take to Lolo. Then we came home and were on our way to dinner with the Hunttings and well we got into a little accident. A little truck pulled out in front of us and we hit him. Pray for him, he was a little shook up. So today I am stuck at home without a vehicle and who knows how long it will be until we have our Tahoe back. We are all safe and no one was hurt. Sarah was a little shook up over the whole thing but she has done very well. I am going to go get checked sometime this week hopefully to make sure that lil' Glathar is alright but everything seems to be fine. I will keep you posted.
