Change...

I think that change is coming to this blog soon. I have some ideas but we will see what happens. Just want you to know that I am still here...

England thoughts....
I went and got my hair cut today. When I have called to make the appointment every time they ask me if I just want a "Wet cut". I say yes. I don't need anything fancy. I just needed a trim. So my hair dresser cut my hair and combed it strait and said well I think that I am done. My thought was what! You are just going to let me walk out of here like this. I asked her if she had time to quickly blow dry it. She said that I needed to ask for it to be blown dry. Humm... well here in England you pay for every thing separate. Nothing all inclusive. Well... I went home and washed it and did it myself. Just different...

There are also lots of cars that drive around with a few red "L's" on them. These people are learners. Learning how to drive. Honestly they scare me. I would not want to be learning how to drive on these roads but I also would not want to have that big sign on my car saying to everyone else that I was just learning how to do this crazy driving.

Most British don't have a drier. If they do it is in the garage and therefore they don't use it very often. Mine quit working this week. I have not been home to get this handled so that means that I am using my clothes line and changing my carbon footprint. I like this change. Very different. We will see how I like it in the winter.

Just a few more weeks without my husband. Maybe a trip to Spain. A family vacation to Amsterdam and then back to Montana for a few weeks. I am SO ready for a change in scenery. xx

Our trip to the grocery store...

Here in England every grocery store has a rack of flowers right as you come in the door. They are beautiful! I love getting them and filling my kitchen with beauty. While Mike is gone I am religious about getting flowers. As we walk in the door to get groceries that week the kids ask if they can help pick the flowers this week. Sarah will ALWAYS pick pink flowers. Cory was looking at the orchids today. Ooo! I may have to get those next week. Today they got to help and here is what they chose. I always enjoy the flowers and getting something new and different every week. Thanks, honey!

Planting

When I was little I always helped my grandma plant her garden. I have been wanting to plant a few things in pots for a garden here and so I decided that when grandma was here we were going to plant a garden together. This time it would be my garden. Here are a few pictures.
