Bio

I had to write a Bio for my Uppercase Living Newsletter and I thought that I would share it with you. We all need to see on paper that we actually have accomplished something not just doing the monotonous tasks of laundry, meals, and cleaning.

Raised on a farm in rural Montana near Power, Katie Glathar knows hard work first hand. She attended Eastern Washington University for a few years before returning to Great Falls working as a Flex Plan Administrator. Shortly thereafter she met her husband, Mike at Great Falls Christian Center. In 2003 she began her challenging career as an Air Force wife. Her passion is helping people have a deeper connection to the church through small groups and encouraging other mothers through hard years of motherhood by coordinating MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers). She currently has a 2 year old daughter, Sarah and 1 year old son, Cory. Being a mother is her most time-consuming task but very rewarding. She enjoys the outdoors and is very avid about nutrition. Her creative spirit is contagious as she enjoys scrap booking and blogging. For her, Uppercase Living has been a tool to express herself through words and an excuse to have a night out with the girls!
